
"There are several planes that will travel from Algeria to Egypt to support the Greens in the 2019 African Nations Cup," said Khairuddin Zatchi, president of the Algerian Football Federation.
"There will be flights to Egypt to allow our fans to move in large numbers to support the Algerian team from the quarter-finals," Zachchi said in remarks highlighted by the Algerian daily Al-Khobar.
"We are waiting for the arrival of large numbers of fans and we are working to facilitate their stay and entry to the stadium, we have to provide them with a card to encourage the acquisition of a ticket to enter the stadium."
"As for the fans who would return home after the expiration date of their travel tickets, we thank the officials of Air Algerie, to extend their stay until the end of the national team."
The Greens, which have been in Cairo since the start of the tournament, will travel to Suez on Thursday to meet Cote d'Ivoire in the quarterfinals of the Nations Cup on the same day.
