"The new artwork is dedicated to the friendship that brings together the Syrian and Russian peoples," said Dennis Chiterbock, the city's deputy parliamentarian, according to a commentary on his own page on Telegram.

The new work was opened in the presence of the President of the city's Parliament, Vyacheslav Makarov, and the Honorary Consul of Syria in St. Petersburg, Malaz Ghazi.

He added that graphite charges on the streets became an integral part of the city's environment.

In recent years, in the city of St. Petersburg, high-tech paintings have been shown in a realistic way. The most recent of them is the image of Zenit player Ferdinand Rexen, entitled Ferdinand Laysslam.
