USNS, a US high-speed transport and landing ship, arrived at the port of Odessa.
Ukrainian media reported that this combat unit will participate in the bilateral Sea Breeze-2019 exercise.
It is also reported that the ship brought the US Marines to Ukraine, who will participate in the exercises. In the near future, another US Navy ship, the US Missile Carney, is scheduled to arrive.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Border Service published reports that the Ukrainian-American exercises will begin on July 1. Military maneuvers will be held on land, at sea, in the air and under water.
It should be noted that in addition to the USNS Yuma landing ship, the USS Carney missile destroyer will reach Ukrainian shores. The ship is equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range of 1.6 thousand kilometers.
