Military monitoring-

The new unmanned Russian airliner, which is externally mentioned in a polar owl and presented at the 2019 Army Forum, poses a deadly threat to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This is stated in an article on the German version of Business Insider.

"This owl, above all other military vehicles at the Russian Defense Ministry's annual military exhibition, is not an owl," says the publication.

The writer writes that today's war of the future can not be envisioned without the use of drones, where drones have a number of undeniable advantages. The main advantage of any unmanned aircraft is that no one will suffer if it is destroyed, so it will be easier for the army to send drones to the enemy territory.

Today, almost all armies of the world use drones. Russia, feeling the pressure of the United States and NATO, does not want to surrender to its potential rivals, and thus constantly develops the latest weapons.

"The Russian army has long relied on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the so-called polar owl, which is one of the latest Russian innovations in drones, looks like a normal bird, but it represents a serious and deadly threat to NATO."

It is known today that drones provided only weigh five kilograms and can remain in the air for up to 40 minutes and up to 20 kilometers. According to developers, the so-called owl was designed to obtain a very accurate identification of coordinates of ground survey sites using the integrated telemetry method using the laser measurement and guidance system and the GLONASS system.

It should be noted that the new aircraft was made in the form of falcon and other birds living in enemy territory is possible.

The writer concludes that the Russian owl is an unmanned aerial vehicle and is intended for espionage. The owls, eagles and eagles thrive in the sky in large parts of Russia and Europe. An unmanned aerial vehicle can look like a bird and this is a good advantage, since this aircraft can approach the enemy unnoticed in order to detect and transfer coordinates of the location of tanks or other military equipment to the enemy.
