LONDON (Reuters) – Real Madrid have offered a £ 150 million offer to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Bogba, a British newspaper reported on Monday.
The Sun newspaper reported on Sunday that Real Madrid had offered Manchester United, 150 million pounds ($ 167 million), to sign Pogpa, who had openly stated that he wanted to renew to any other team.
The club's offer comes amid talk that Manchester United have asked 200 million euros to sell Bogba, who joined the team in the summer of 2019, for 89 million pounds, from Juventus.
If the transfer is successful, Bogba will be the most expensive player to be sold by an English club, beating Philippe Coutinho, who left Liverpool for Barcelona in January 2018 for £ 145 million.
Zinedine Zidane, the manager of Real Madrid, has applied for more than one player, including Manchester United's Paul Bugba, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mani from Liverpool.
