
Deputy Chairman of the Political Committee of the Transitional Military Council of Sudan, Lieutenant Yasser Abdul Rahman Al Atta, new information about the coup attempts to overthrow the Council and "forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change" from the political scene.
"One of the coup attempts was from officers who think they support the revolution by this act," Al-Atta told the al-Shieha newspaper on Saturday.
He stressed that he could have led the country to a security breach difficult to remedy.
Al-Atta explained that the second coup attempt was the most movement and was dealt with, pointing out that this group followed by other cells began to work, revealing that these cells belong to the old system.

The Sudanese Transitional Military Council has revealed the frustration of a failed coup attempt last Thursday evening, carried out by a number of officers and non-commissioned officers, the number of (12) officers were arrested (4) of them.
The military committee member, Lieutenant General Jamal Omar, said in a statement on Thursday that the security committee foiled a failed coup attempt by a group of officers and noncommissioned officers (12) officers, (7) service and (5) 4) officers and custody of them, and indicated that he is searching for the rest, including the leader of the coup group.
Omar said:
The armed forces, rapid support, security and police pledge to maintain security and stability in the country, Omar stressed that the failed coup attempt was intended at this delicate and precise timing to pre-sign the agreement between the military junta and the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change, at the time the agreement is signed.
He described the coup group as working against the wishes of the people and not achieving the gains and the highest goals of the country, and cut that the rule of the country will be only in the ballot boxes, and not through the attempted coup, which he said is devastating to the homeland.
