The Chinese company "Obo" introduced a new technology described as revolutionary, turning any smart phone into a traditional "wireless" up to 3 kilometers.
The technology, dubbed "MicWatch", can run "end-to-end" encryption.
The technology connects a group of smart phones to communicate wireless technology without the need to open and pay phone calls, and the range of this technology reaches distances of up to 3 kilometers.
The report also said that the scope of the technology could be greatly increased in urban areas and large crowds, as smart phones could be used for other users as relay stations.
"TechTalk will not have any negative effects on the smartphone's battery," she said.
The company said that the technology will be ideal for work in areas that do not have coverage of mobile networks or in the case of any network failure any sudden.
Obo has not officially disclosed when the technology is expected to be launched on the market, the possibility of making it exclusive to Obo phones or to any other competing phones.
