The lawyer of the family of the late Libyan leader Muammar al-Qadhafi, lawyer Khaled al-Zaidi issued a statement to respond to the statement issued by the family of Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub regarding Hannibal Muammar al-Qadhafi, and to say that he is a member of the Supreme Security Committee.
"We regret that the family of Sheikh Mohammed Yacoub in its statement to fabricate and fabricate positions belonging to Mr. Hannibal Gaddafi, while he was never a member or member of any security or military committee in Libya at all."

He pointed out that such auctions since the abduction of Hannibal Gaddafi from Damascus to this day is not justified by any considerations, and does not aim to achieve any purpose but to overthrow the rights of Hannibal and keep him detained in Lebanese prisons without a legal justification, but the law of affiliation with his father Muammar Gaddafi.
The statement concluded that "the family of the late leader puts this statement on the honor of Lebanon, the Arab public opinion and the international legal institutions, hoping to raise the voice to demand the release of the families of the detainee Hannibal Muammar Gaddafi and his immediate release."
