Syrian international artist Kamal Blan won the second prize in the world competition for compositions and compositions held at the Jelena Gnissina Institute in Moscow.

The award received by composer and playwright Blan was in the category of composition and musical performance as he was the only one to receive a special award in the skill of playing and technique on the Oud machine, according to a spokeswoman for the Syrian news agency "SANA".

Blan participated in the international music competition held at the world-famous music institute Gnissina, where some 150 musicians from all over the world competed. He performed three musical works and his musical accompaniment accompanied by Russian artist Dr. Anton Buchanov and opera singer Olga Aisina The title of the artist of the people.

The competition is the eleventh anniversary dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the birth of Russian musical composer Jelena Gnissina.
