Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, met with UAE officials in Abu Dhabi, where he discussed with them the relations between the two countries and the Iranian file.
Jerusalem – .. According to the Israeli Channel 13, "Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz visited Abu Dhabi yesterday in the framework of the United Nations Environment Conference, met with a number of UAE officials in Abu Dhabi and discussed with them the Iranian file and the relations between the two countries."
The Israeli foreign minister visited the UAE to present an initiative on economic cooperation between Israel and the Gulf states.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Transportation and Strategic Affairs Minister Yisrael Katz of the Likud party, was appointed Acting Foreign Minister in February.
Yisrael Katz came to the Knesset for the first time in 1988, eight months before the early 1999 elections, following the resignation of one of the deputies, and was elected in all subsequent elections.
