
US President Donald Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed the stability of the oil market, the White House said.
Osaka – .. "The two parties discussed the crucial role of Saudi Arabia in ensuring stability in the Middle East and the world oil markets, the growing threat to Iran, increasing trade and investment between the two countries and the importance of human rights issues," the White House said in a statement.
Earlier, Trump publicly called on Saudi Arabia to increase oil production in order to prevent its rising prices.
The G-20 aims at coordinating the policy of Member States to achieve economic stability and steady growth, to move the financial system to reduce risks and prevent financial crises, and to establish a new international financial architecture.
The group currently includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, France, Britain, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Australia and the European Union.
