A marketing ad on a Kuwaiti street has provoked angry reactions on social media.
The image of the declaration included the phrase "what you traveled .. drink can be forgotten", which caused widespread indignation as interpreted by some as "a suggestive invitation to something contrary in the conservative Muslim state, drinking alcohol."
The municipal authorities in Kuwait intervened and removed the announcement after calls to remove it and tighten the censorship from the relevant authorities towards the ads spread in the streets.
The interaction with the issue included the announcement of the MP in the National Assembly Mohammed Al-Huwaila to communicate with the Minister of Municipal Affairs Fahad Al-Shola to take the necessary measures. The user here is unacceptable and contrary to common sense.
