King Salman receives phone call from Palestinian President

The Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received a telephone call from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) after the king arrived in Mina to oversee the Hajj.

During the call, the Palestinian President expressed his congratulations to the King on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

King Salman thanked the Palestinian President for congratulating him on this occasion, calling on God to restore it to the Islamic and Arab nations with Yemen and delights.

In the same context, King Salman received a similar phone call from Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, congratulating him on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and the Saudi king thanked him for congratulating him on this happy occasion.

King Salman bin Abdul Aziz also received a phone call from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, congratulating him on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, expressing his thanks.

The convoys of pilgrims began to arrive in Upper Arafa to spend the pilgrimage corner, since dawn on Saturday, August 10.

Saudi Arabia's Al-Akhbariya TV channel published a video showing a large number of pilgrims flocking to Mount Arafat, after most of them spent the night in Mina in what is known as "Tarawiya Day".

The Hajj authorities have prepared thousands of camps in Arafat to receive pilgrims while ensuring safety tools, especially with the arrival of the huge number of pilgrims to Arafat.

The pilgrims spend their time on the day of Arafat, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, in worship, remembrance of God and fulfillment.

Earlier on Friday, the director of Saudi Public Security announced that more than one million and 100,000 pilgrims arrived in Mina, and that 100,000 pilgrims arrived in Arafat, while the remaining 800,000 arranged pilgrims remain on Saturday morning directly to Upper Arafat.

After sunset, the pilgrims are expected to alienate Muzdalifah, where they will stay and collect the stoning, which they will deliver on Eid and during the three days of Tashreeq.
