
After a political crisis that lasted for more than a month in Lebanon following the events of Qabrishmoun in Mount Lebanon, President Michel Aoun was able to bring the two parties to the conflict, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, and the head of the Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan, during the reconciliation meeting held in Baabda Palace. Hariri said after the reconciliation and frank meeting: "The meeting condemned the incident Qabrshmon – orchards, which resulted in the loss of two victims and a number of wounded, which is in the custody of the military judiciary based on the laws in force, and in the light of the investigations take the appropriate decisions during a cabinet session tomorrow."
Speaker Nabih Berri described the meeting as an achievement.
The Free Patriotic Movement MP, Salim Aoun, told . that the meeting in Baabda will inevitably come with a result, adding that "if there was no result it would not have happened, the president of the republic is the godfather of the meeting because he is the head of state."
MP Aoun said: "Today we need not to disrupt the government. The government must return to its work because it awaits a lot of work to do, but at the same time not at the expense of the judiciary, rights and justice. .
Aoun also pointed out that Lebanon is going through an economic crisis, but pointed out that "we have not yet reached the collapse or as marketed every time the price of currency changes, we are in a crisis and able to address, and the important things in the treatment is the return of the government and this intimidation was used before the formation of the government, These rumors and this atmosphere start from our crisis situation, but certainly not to the point of collapse.
