
The International Organization for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said on Friday it had treated 75 people, seven of them in critical condition, since fighting escalated Thursday night between the Yemeni army and the Southern Transitional Council (NTC) forces in the interim capital of Aden, southern Yemen.
She added, "Doctors Without Borders" on its account in the "Twitter", that "most of the civilians were wounded by shrapnel during the shelling of their homes or stray bullets."

The international organization confirmed that its surgical hospital in Aden is still open to all, despite the escalation of fighting inside the city.
On Wednesday, clashes erupted in Aden, the provisional capital of the legitimate government of Yemen, after clashes broke out after the deputy chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Ben Brik, called on his forces to storm Maasheq Palace, where the presidency and the government are located.
News reports indicated that there were dead and wounded in clashes between the security belt forces and presidential protection in the city of Aden.
The clashes are still going on from time to time in several areas of the city, amid casualties on both sides, as well as civilian casualties.
