A 5.6-magnitude earthquake hits a city close to Ahwaz, Iran

The US Geological Survey announced Monday that a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck 84 kilometers east of the Iranian city of Ahvaz.

The US Geological Survey said the earthquake did not last long and felt the residents of the city for a few seconds.
