A new invitation from the UAE after recent protests in Sudan

Arab news-

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash called on the Sudanese political parties to continue dialogue and avoid escalation after protests against the ruling junta.

"The important thing in the brotherly Sudan is that the dialogue should continue without hesitation and an agreement on the transitional arrangements that guarantee and establish a stable constitutional system, and it is necessary to avoid confrontation and escalation," Gargash said in a tweet on his official Twitter page.

He added: "It is clear that the opposition and the army need some and to agree and avoid the continuation of the crisis and exacerbated."

Sudan has experienced a political crisis since the ousting of former President Omar al-Bashir on April 11, following popular protests, to continue protests against the military junta, which handed power to demand the transfer of civilians.

Talks between the military junta and the opposition have reached a dead end, with deep differences over who should lead the three-year transition to democracy.

The Sudanese security forces stormed the sit-in in central Khartoum on the third of this month and forcibly removed it, killing more than one hundred people, according to the protest forces.
