In July, Sotheby's auction will feature rare videos that monitor humans' first steps on the moon 50 years ago.
Gary George says he bought more than 1,100 videotapes when he was a university student and is said to be the only original record remaining for this historic moment, which took place on July 20, 1969, during Apollo 11, according to Reuters.
George is expected to earn millions of dollars from selling the tapes at the auction, after he bought them at a US $ 218 auction in 1976 that NASA put up for sale to reduce costs.
