Morocco's national team captain Mubarak Boussoufa said his country was ready to face Benin on Friday at the African Nations Cup finals in the African Cup of Nations.
"We are ready to face Benin physically and mentally and we must be focused on helping Herve Rennard in applying his ideas," Boussoufa said at a press conference on Thursday.
"We are suffering from high temperatures in Egypt but we are ready for tomorrow's game and we will not pay attention to the rising temperatures," Mubarak Boussoufa said of Morocco's matches at the time of the day.
"We all criticized us after the first game but we did not pay attention to those criticisms and we worked hard to qualify for the full mark. It does not matter who is the best player, but most importantly, the team wins and qualifies for the realization of a people's dream full of joy."
"Egypt has done everything for the success of the tournament and the stadiums are fantastic," said Morocco's captain Mubarak Boussoufa on the stadiums.
On the possibility of facing Algeria during the tournament, he explained that "Algeria has a distinguished group of players with a wonderful technical apparatus led by Gamal Belmadi, so it will be a great and strong match."
The 16th round of the African Cup of Nations, which is being held in Egypt on July 19, will take place on Friday.
Morocco will face Benin, Uganda against Senegal, Nigeria against Cameroon, Egypt against South Africa, Madagascar against the DRC, Ghana against Tunisia, Côte d'Ivoire against Mali, Algeria against Guinea.
This is the first time in the history of the African Nations Cup, in which the 16 th round of the African Confederation of African Football (CAF) has been held, increasing the number of teams participating in the African Cup of Nations to 24 from the current edition.
