Russian President Vladimir Putin said days ago that Moscow was ready to work with any elected British prime minister.

Putin said, in an interview with the channel "Russia-1":

"The person chosen by the party is who will be prime minister, we will work with anyone."

In response to a question by journalists about any of the candidates for this position supported by the head of state of Russia, he stressed that for him there is no favorite candidate in this race.
