US military laser recognizes people 200 meters away

Military monitoring-

The US military has been able to develop a laser device, used in special operations forces, and is based on the principle of fingerprinting.

According to the US businessinsider website, an infrared laser device has been developed that can identify enemy combatants from a distance by reading their heart fingerprints.

The new device, known as "Jetson", uses measurements of non-contact laser vibrations to monitor the movement of surfaces resulting from the human heartbeat.

Reports indicate laser penetration of clothing and a positive identification of approximately 95 percent at a distance of up to 200 meters, and there is a real possibility of extending that range.

This technology is still in its early stages, and the laser can not penetrate the thick clothing. The person must sit or stand in one place to be able to operate. The device takes about 30 seconds to read and get results.
