
The African nation's sports minister, who was in Egypt's African Cup of Nations set up in Egypt until July 19, was attacked by his country's fans.
It was reported that the Minister of Sports of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was attacked by fans of his country, after the exit of the team from the sixteenth round of the African Championship.
The video, published by journalist Fred Ender Herrera, showed that the fans attacked the sports minister at the airport on his return, beat him and ripped his clothes.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo lost to Madagascar on penalties after the end of the original and extra time with a draw of two goals each.
