An official source in the General Secretariat of the Arab League, said that the Secretary-General of the League is following with concern the developments in Aden.
Moscow – .. The source pointed out that the university calls on all Yemeni people to arbitrate reason and put the supreme interest of the Yemeni state above any narrow considerations in order to preserve the security, safety and unity of Yemeni lands.
The source stressed that it has become clear that there is no possibility of military resolution of the battles between the people of one nation, calling on all parties to calm down and engage seriously in a responsible dialogue to end the differences and work together to ensure the return of legitimacy to the country and end the suffering of the Yemeni people and preserve the unity of the country.
On Wednesday, clashes erupted in Aden, the provisional capital of the legitimate government of Yemen, after clashes broke out after the deputy chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Ben Brik, called on his forces to storm Maasheq Palace, where the presidency and the government are located.
News reports indicated that there were dead and wounded in clashes between the security belt forces and presidential protection in the city of Aden.
The clashes are still going on from time to time in several areas of the city, amid casualties on both sides, as well as civilian casualties.
