Arab media reported that the Yemeni security services belonging to Ansar Allah group (Houthis) revealed the cell behind the assassination of Ibrahim al-Houthi, asserting that the cell belonged to Saudi intelligence.
Al-Mayadeen TV quoted Yemeni sources as saying that the security services succeeded in arresting 80% of the members of the cell. They are under investigation, pointing out that the cell belongs to Saudi intelligence and is under the supervision of a former militia leader.
The group "Ansar Allah" (Houthis), called on Friday, Ibrahim Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who was killed by what it called "US-Israeli-Saudi aggression."
The group, in a statement, "it will not hesitate to prosecute and seize the tools of criminal aggression that carried out the assassination of the martyr Ibrahim al-Houthi," the brother of Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the group, "according to the channel" March.
The Lebanese "Hezbollah", the first comment on the assassination of Ibrahim Badr al-Din al-Houthi, said in a statement, broadcast by the channel "Al-Manar": "The blood of the martyrs will increase the oppressed Yemeni people insistence to continue to defend itself until victory."
The statement pointed out that "Hezbollah" offers condolences, saying "the fall of the Yemeni leaders martyrs is a victory for the Yemeni people, and a living proof of the sincerity of its leadership and sincerity of its mujahideen."
