The Palestinian National Council (PNC) called on Sunday for an Arab-Islamic move to deter violations by the Israeli army and settlers who stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Speaker of the Council, Salim al-Zaanoun, said in a press statement on Sunday that the brutal assault by the Israeli occupation forces on worshipers inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its squares is a full-fledged crime. He also called for urgent international protection for the Palestinian people and their holy sites.

The Palestinian National Council issued an urgent appeal to Arab and Islamic parliaments representing Arab peoples to shoulder their responsibilities towards Al Aqsa Mosque and Islamic and Christian holy sites.
The Israeli occupation forces have today allowed settlers to enter the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and assaulted Muslims participating in Eid prayers, injuring dozens.
