Arab coalition forces stressed Sunday the need for the withdrawal of the Southern Transitional Council formations from the positions of the Yemeni army, which took control of it in the interim capital Aden in southern Yemen.
Cairo – .. The channel quoted "Al Arabiya" an official source in the coalition, as saying, "the transitional permit is good as a first step and insufficient and has to withdraw from sites seized by weapons."
He added that "the meeting in Saudi Arabia will take place after the withdrawal of the transitional positions."
On Saturday evening, the Arab coalition leadership called on the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council for an immediate ceasefire in Aden starting at 0100 hours, warning that it would use military force against those who violate it.
The coalition leadership called for "the transition formations to withdraw from the positions and camps of the Yemeni army, which they seized in Aden."
Meanwhile, the Saudi Foreign Ministry called on the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council to convene an urgent meeting in the kingdom to resolve disputes, predominate wisdom and dialogue, renounce division and stop strife and unite to confront the Ansar Allah group (Houthis).
On the other hand, the transitional asserted by the official spokesman, Nizar Ghanem, "the response of the Transitional Council, to the statement of the leadership of the Coalition to support legitimacy, and its full commitment to the cease-fire."
He added that he "welcomes the invitation of the brothers in Saudi Arabia for dialogue and its readiness for it."
