Strong storms hit Germany on Friday, specifically the city of Luxembourg causing great damage.
The typhoon damaged southwestern Luxembourg on Friday evening and injured 19 people, according to the portal "Rtlnieuws", two of them in serious condition.
In addition, the cyclone destroyed 160 houses and within a few minutes of the phenomenon, the police and emergency service received more than a thousand urgent calls.
Shelters for the homeless have been opened and a Luxembourg official wrote on Twitter: The government is helping the victims, a crisis committee has been set up, and the city's energy supply has not been compromised.

A Luxembourg police spokesman reported a "devastation" of five, six or seven kilometers, with many buildings destroyed and uninhabitable, temporary shelters built and emergency shifts set up.
