At least 30 people have been killed in clashes at the security team's camp in the presidential palace in Aden, Saudi Arabia television quoted sources as saying.
Strong explosions rocked Aden on Friday night amid fierce clashes in the mountainous Hadar Khor Maksar, in the center of the city.
The clashes saw the use of various types of weapons in the vicinity of the Fourth Brigade presidential protection in meat, north of Aden.
Medical sources told the station that at least eight civilians were killed Friday following renewed clashes that erupted last Wednesday, in the city of Aden.
The interim capital of the legitimate government of Yemen, Aden, witnessed clashes after the announcement of the Vice-President of the Southern Transitional Council Hani bin Brik, General Secretary, and called on his forces to storm the Maasheq Palace where the headquarters of the Republic and the government.
The clashes are still going on from time to time in several areas of the city, amid casualties on both sides, as well as civilian casualties.
